An example of one of our affordable rent developments is Brook Close in Condover, which has been designed in consultation with local residents and parish councils to offer a tailor-made solution for local housing needs.

They could continue their education at the local school and it also meant that this would be affordable so I could save money for my children instead of it being used to fund rising private rent. But finding suitable sites for sustainable development is difficult. Sarah Boden, chief executive of Housing Plus Group said, “In terms of housing developments £20 million over six years may not sound a lot but it represents a significant investment in rural areas because of the lack of suitable sites and planning restrictions.”
