Having followed all the previous steps you will now be in a position to apply for your chosen home. You will need to complete the Homes Plus Shared Ownership application and provide all the items mentioned below.
- Homes England Affordability Calculator
- AIP/proof of cash
- Financial sign-off (provided by a mortgage broker)*
- Proof of your local connection** (if applicable)
- Completed Homes Plus Shared Ownership application form
Please note:
A. Until all items are received and, importantly, approved, our New Shared Ownership Homes must remain available for sale.
B. All shared ownership applications are processed on a first come first served basis, and properties will only be allocated once all items, as detailed in points 1 to 5 above, have been checked and approved.
*You can choose to use your own mortgage advisor or financial advisor to assist with your application however all parts of the application are still required. Please advise us, as soon as possible, if you aren’t using The Mortgage People.
